NABSEF believes in the science. The foundation alone with other organizations and companies throughout this country still have a long way to go to getting back to a normalcy.
Therefore, NABSEF will "reset" and continue to follow CDC guidelines for its programs and events even though we recognize the cascading benefits of getting back to work, going back to school, and taking back control of our lives.
For almost thirty-five (35) years, a National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) committee which later became the NABSE foundation raised funds and channeled those resources and expertise into a finite set of endeavors to assure students attended colleges and universities and supported meaningful NABSE programs.
Today, the foundation’s work offers an increased focus on improving the lives of youth and family with educational opportunities through increased financial supported scholarships. We do this through our creative educational partnerships and innovative fundraising to extract more value from each private donation.
The "1998 National Funding Campaign Project" is a concentrated effort to solicit major gifts and raise approximately $30,000.00 annually for underserve students to attend the African-American Youth Male and Female Leadership Summits held on campuses of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The national campaign project support programs of the National Alliance of Black School Educators, Inc. and the research and development for publication of the JOURNAL OF THE ALLIANCE OF BLACK SCHOOL EDUCATORS (JABSE). NABSEF host several annual giving campaigns which are designed to raise annual funds that go toward the organization’s annual revenue goal. Our annual giving campaigns which happen regularly throughout the year and come in various forms such as our advocacy and awareness, text-to-give and social media campaigns.
Our advocacy and awareness campaigns are designed to create support for underserve student’s educational, scientific, and charitable purposes and aim to educate people and raise public awareness about the African American Youth Male and Female Leadership Summits. Our Text-To-Give campaigns allow people to give money to NABSEF from their cell phones via text message whereas our social media campaign is used as the main avenue for soliciting donations. Our emphasis is on individuals “paying it forward” in hopes of raising support for underserve students to further their education.

The 1998 Funding Campaign Project is goal-oriented and relates to the larger goal of $30,000.00 annually to support NABEF mission and NABSE programs.
